But sure to torque down the brake hose to caliper bonjo bolt. 40 ft. lbs.

Are you sure ? Isn't 40 ft lbs too much for the hollow caliber banjo bolt?
What is the factory recommended torque for the 10mm x 1.5 threaded banjo bolt?

40 ft. lbs. is the spec. according to Alldata. It seemed very tight and was nerve wracking to tighten it that much but that's what I did on my car. I think you need that much torque to compress the sealing washers. Mine (sealing washers) were aluminum. Here is a screenshot from the Alldata site. This information is for a 2000 Chevy Blazer.....

Hope this helps.

Ive completed this upgrade and at first I did not torque down my banjo bolts and almost recked my 81 El Camino because it was leaking break fluid from the brake hose. If you plan on keeping your vehicle torque the bolts down to 40 ft lbs.
