Help with budget lowering

the 5660 is the front spring. I have open end springs in the rear which I cut and use an F body rear spring isolator which has a channel molded into it for an open spring. The isolator has a hole in the center of it which sits nicely around the bubble that holds the top of the pig tail spring in place on our cars.

Current pic is with stock springs.. Will hopefully install the eibach rears and Moog 5660 with 1/4 coil out next week. I'm trying to be careful not to lower the front too much. Looking for about 2" but my front end seems to sit unusually high. Possibly the LT1 motor/305 motor weight difference... Which I wouldn't think would be that much. Any who updates in the next few days hopefully....

Why would you buy completely brand new springs just to cut them up? Dumbfounded...

From what I gather the white spots mark the tops of the springs. As far as cutting. For two inches that's half a coil off which would be where the marker is pointing correct?

Or would this be considered half a coil? This is what I would consider a full coil off from the bottom but I'd rather confirm before I cut
