Have a part # of what lights those are??

Did you have to change any wiring?

for the light housings, and the HID kits came from ebay (get slim ballast) i did have to modify both the light housing and the head light bucket to make them fit properly. I't no big deal i just needed to sand the little "knobby things" on the back of the housng flush and make the hole in the bucket bigger so you could fit the bulb through

was it just the housings and HID kit, no relay needed? i know it's been said with H4 conversions you need a relay but with the ballast do you still need a relay? i dont care either way, i just want to know ahead of time and save me some time and aggravation.

I would use a relay on both high and low beams, the switch and wires really don't hold a high load that well, but you maybe able to get away with it. IMO i wouldn't chance it.

that's all i needed to know. i want the protection those relays bring but if i didnt need to buy them (like something did the same thing in the kit, i dont know) i didnt necessarily want to buy them.

so i'll make sure to get a relay kit. then the question becomes about changing around the wires at the connector. i heard you had to change two of them around when i first read about this swap a couple years ago. does that still apply?

Ok, For us dinosaur guys that stil have dial phones on our kitchen walls............those lights look sweet..what are all the part #'s needed to get this on out G-Body rides???

Thanks

I ordered a kit the other day and it came with some relays and a wiring harness, so the best bet will be to see what you get then just buy some relays if you need too, i just picked up some 4 post 30 amp from autozone

I feel yer pain... :blam: projection lights ... HID's ... ??????

It sure would be nice to have a good write up ... hint hint

And maybe an explanation of the pros/con of each setup.

I understand EFI but I just can't get my mind wrapped around these headlights for some reason. But, I'd like to upgrade mine since it's gonna be a daily driver.
