hood clearance

i have 87 olds with 455 upgrade with a edelbrock 750 on an performer intake i have hood clearance problem looking for a drop fliter set up . and if i need to change motor mount i think motor mount are off of a 307

Are you using a spacer/thick gasket under carb?

try the drop base cleaner first as it's rather cheap and easier than the motor mount experiment.see what happens.

First post in almost 2 years , not sure about your poll ............a drop air filter would be the easiest to try. but are you talking about a half inch or ??? to close the hood

This one is a little (lot) pricey, but there are other ones in this style that are a lot cheaper.
