Man that's nice..if you could find just the scoop..it would be possible..i do composites and sheet metal in the military..so anything is possible lol
Well hell, if you have that experience from the military....you have access to the equipment to design and build you're own! Then it would be a true one off, like rktpwrd's badass cowl hood....i will find a pic and post it! Truly awesome metal fab involved.

Would DIY hood vents count? 🙂

For the record, I am planning to install a scoop so I run a taller air cleaner. My idea is to get a Mopar Six Pack style scoop and mount it backwards (ie, with the opening facing backwards). Some day.
Anything do it yourself always counts lol

I was considering this one and mounting with the opening in the rear but it is for a flat hood so would require some work to fit on a gbody.
It is a six pack scoop for 65-66 Mustangs and is a bolt on.

I also made hood vents for my cowl hood on my Monte to get some of the heat out.

I like that idea....those are trick looking!
Thanks, I looked for something in the aftermarket but couldn't find anything that would work so I decided to make my own since I have two conflicting body lines and wanted to match both of them, the final step after mock ups was grinding the bolt heads flush before smoothing and painting the vents.
