Good progress. Pretty tight bend coming out of the turbo. Restrictive? Understand it's a packaging issue. Those valve covers are beautiful! Need to hang them on the wall so you can look at them all the time!

I wonder about that too, we'll all find out about the same time I guess. This isn't really a max effort build anyway, and if the same short turn principles apply to exhaust as head porting it has a chance. Those vc's are $78 eBay cheapies, but they seem to be well built, and I do love looking at them.

GF bought me a pump for my intercooler 🙂

Here's a pic of the inside of the exhaust outlet, I tried to keep the transition as smooth as I could, and if it don't work right, I know how to cut and weld.

Got the turbo to intercooler pipe built and the blow off valve on, waiting on my new Extreme Velocity carb hat before I do the other half. I hate ebay sellers that sell parts they don't have in stock.

Cold side is in the books.

I wasn't happy with the last version of the outlet for the exhaust, so I tried again with 4". Much happier with this one. I also got the exhaust made from a mix of new and used bends, 4" all the way to the trans crossmember where it turns down and out toward the passenger side.

Had a hydraulic hose made for the oil feed for the turbo. I'm considering having all the fuel lines made from hydraulic hose this time as I figure it'll be about the same price as AN fitting and braided stainless, and much easier on my fingers to boot.
