Going to make sausage? Otherwise it does sound like a lot of hamburg. Maybe some should been stew meat?
Did you opt for the pork mix-in with the ground venison or straight up?
Pork in with it. The way we tend to cook it will get used. I will press a bunch of burger patties as well. If another deer is shot then we make jerky, sausage, steaks, and all the good stuff.

Rifle season starts Nov. 6 here. Broken leg or not I'm going to be there for opening weekend. Here's to hoping this guy shows up.
