Yep the 4 speed version based off & came after the 3 speed version which were mainly put in old late 70s - early 80s Pontiac's and camaros. For whatever reason people think the 3 speed lightning rods were an aftermarket knockoff that came out after Olds made the 84 H/Os when in fact the 3 speeds were out in 81 if I'm not mistaken.RunAwayNJ said:I was not aware of this, but the original Hurst lightning rods were actually retrofitted to the 442. I also found 2 sets of OEM lightning rods for upwards of $850. wow!
