Did they tell you what year MCSS? The later years had the "Z" stamp embossed on the box. (or "N" depending on how you look at it) ;)

I'm in the process of replacing my Steering Gear Box as well, I was going to go with the 2.25 lock to lock but I chose the one from Autozone that they recommended, its a 3.3 lock to lock. There is also a 3.5 Lock to lock. I'm interested to know how yours will work, what car is yours?
I have the 1980 and the front wheel arches seem to be lower then other G-body, also what wheel and tire combo you have.
I have the 2000 Firebird 16 X 8 in wheels, with 245- 16 tires and run 3in spacers.
