There is one guy around here that has an old Cadi hearse, he drives it alot but I wouldn't be caught dead in it....😎

There are hearse enthusiasts and clubs, the owner is probably one. Service cars have a sizeable fan base.

What I liked even better was the 50s Cadillac flower cars. Pretty much a Caddy El Camino. They showed a bunch of them in the Godfather for his funeral. I liked the 59 best. In the early 70s you could get a kit to convert a 71-76 Coupe Deville to a pick up that really looked good.

I've seen a guy on one of my routes that has a '66 Olds 88 flower car. Looks like the conversion shop Bondo'd the back doors closed after hacking the long roof off.

Just proves theres always been BUTCHER'S in the industry . I thunk CADILLAC Sid theirs in house till sometime in the 60s

It's how you transport one of those plus plus sized ladies.

Like Gilbert Grape's mom.

They don't fit in the actual hearse, but, c'mon... using a dump truck just ain't dignified.

There was a guy at the Ocean City Cruisin' event about 15 years ago that had a tubbed Caddy hearse. The interior was all dark red crushed velour, it had 3" exhaust dumped out the side, and was cool as hell. The whole family was a little touched in their Goth gear- he even had a Frankenstein tat, kinda like a modern day Adams' family.

The funeral home was moving to a new location.

AMS "Madness" - The World's Fastest Hearse. Built by AMS. Powered by Garrett.

A tribute to his favorite Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden, "Madness", is the creation of AMS Vice President Arne Toman. Wanting a more mainstream world record, he sought to build the World's Fastest Hearse. In 2012, he realized his dreams when the Hearse broke the record on its first outing. Since then he has been knocking down the 10 second and 9 second barriers in the quarter mile. Not bad for a legitimate, fully-functioning Hearse.
