About to retire from the service, so needless to say my G has been part of the family from start to finish!!!! It has been all over the U.S. East coast and West coast. Car still runs no rust, many, many trips all over. My older boys including my oldset daughter fight over who will get it... LOL

I am currently 19, a freshman in college. I got my G-Body at 15 years old, and daily drove it (once I got my license) for 2.5 years. Then I got a daily driver, and the Cutlass is now my weekend Hot Rod 😎

The middle to the left? or middle to the right?😀

I'll be 41 in two weeks and the only gbodies I've owned were malibus on my 3rd one now. I've owned one since 17 years old. My dad friends and family were all car guys so it was only natuaral I guess.

I am 62 and my Dad forced me to learn how to fix Volkswagen Beetles. To this day I hate them to death. I was not impressed with the downsized A/G bodies at the time but I liked the versatility of station wagons. In '93 when I needed a fresh one I found an '81 Malibu with 229 V-6 and 3 speed manual trans. That became a Pontiac 350 4 speed, then a Pontiac 400 4 speed, then a Buick 231 automatic, then a Pontiac 301 automatic. I finally dumped it at 300K. Now I have an '83 Pontiac Bonneville wagon that I pestered a 93 year old man 5 years for. It was a Buick 231 automatic but now is a Pontiac 301 4 speed. Wether I toss a mountain bike in the back, or surf rods, or tow a boat, I can't live without an American made staiton wagon.

Greetings Guys; Ok for you guys that missed my for sale post (long gone) it started with my age. A few months from now I'll have completed my 70th lap (around the sun). So I'll be coming in for a pit stop, but will require more than fuel & tires! At this point I'll only admit to LMA (Late Middle Age) as I'm not sure when a person gets old? What I do know is this automobile hobby tends to keep ya young. So mixing it up with you younger guys helps a lot, thank you. And setting valves (up & down off the floor 8 times), greasing all the zerks 7 or 8 more times helps a lot too. How many guys do ya know that can do that at my age? So now I'm curious, how many have had the "A-G" cars longer than me, 37 years August 1st 1979? I hope to fire it up Friday, so I'd better go out in the garage get & busy, it's still on jack stands! Thanks for hav'in me, Bob Jr.
Ps: I had to edit the years of ownership 37 not 36, my bad.

I'm 51, and I blame my cousin Carolyn. She bought a 78 Monte Carlo Landau, triple black, as a dealer demo. My parents had Monte Carlos since they were introduced, and I felt they were big old people cars until that little black Monte showed up. Carolyn was my favorite cousin and could do no wrong in my eyes, but she was hell on cars. She wore that Monte out in about 5 years. She always complained about the "rubber baby buggy bumpers" on her car, and when I sent her a picture of my new 79 project, that's the first thing she said about it, too!

I'm 22 years old. First g body I drove was my dad's 79 Olds cutlass when I was 18. I loved driving something that old. He junked it. I bought a project nova, but wanted a daily driver that was old and reliable. Bought my first G body 87 cutlass supreme it's all been down hill from there lol.
