Hey all,
I am new to the forum and decided to introduce myself. My name is Nate, I am 24, and I have an '86 Oldsmobile 442 with a modified 1978 Oldsmobile 403. My grandfather purchased the car from an old farmer who put less than 10k miles on it. My grandfather drove it until my father decided to buy it from him. Once I graduated from high school, my dad decided to gift the car to me, though it had a busted 307 (broke a ring and gouged the cylinder wall). I found a 403 for it and built it up from there. After doing a full tear down/rebuild, I put on 350 Olds heads, a big cam (biggest I could fit for the heads), Edelbrock aluminum performance intake, mechanical distributor, high pressure oil pump, and a quadrajet. The car also has true dual catless exhaust, a 4.11 posi rear diff, and a built up Turbo 400 trans. I love the car and it sounds amazing. Happy to be a part of a great community of G-body enthusiasts!
