this has come up before, 2004 i think.
Ford will unveil a concept car called "The Interceptor" at the Detroit Auto Show in January. That car will be based on the Mustang's rear-wheel-drive architecture but it will not be a Mustang, the company emphasized in its announcement.
kind of reminds me of previous semantic debates. like
"depends on what your definition of "is" is. "
Don't be surprised if Toyota turns it into a CUV. I just don't get these things selling, some are cramped inside, almost all look beyond bad. I don't get the tiny top and huge bottom. No gradual lines along with goofy lights and grills just make them awful. My wife wouldn't be caught dead or alive in one.Honest to God I hope I'm employed somewhere else before these abominations start hitting the lots. We all thought the Edge STs were barf worthy. Just an FYI from someone who wrenches on them on a daily basis, if you are considering a new Ford that isn't a truck you seriously need to shop around more. I have even less nice things to say about GM but staying on point, I'm far from thrilled with the current or near-future Ford lineup.
But in other new car news, the Camry is coming back with AWD for the first time since the All-Trac in 1991! If I can get one of those with the 301 HP 6 cyl and a true automatic (i.e no CVT, I'm not holding my breath for a manual) I may seriously consider one.
Elon Musk took the opportunity to annoy everyone by tweeting that you could be PG&E free if you dropped $30K on a solar roof and a battery bank. Of course, no traffic lights and freezers off at Walmart puts a damper on the mobility solution.Well they arent selling in Cali anymore since they shut off the electric due to the fires and all those hippies were stranded when they couldnt charge their cars
