For those that do have the projects and have a goal, get it done.

I overhauled mine in Sept 2019, besides the solid body mounts and coil spring change, it's been just get in and drive. I'll take that any day. :)
Doesn't need to necessarily be a project car, just a g-body with a set goal/benchmark in mind for 2024!

Run a 12 second pass? Buy a quadrajet for a monte ss that hasn't been running right? Get some work done and on the road? All different things we can aim for!

My resolution is to put last years setback behind me and get the 8.8 Swap done in the boxed frame and make it a complete roller.
This should give me some time to drive the Regal and enjoy as much as I can in stock form before blowing it apart for the chassis and LS swap next winter.
Oh and maybe to actually keep by build thread a photos up to date.

OK, we've got 5!

Let's get some more entries guys, this is one of the only.times this year anyone can enter their car! All you've got to do is come up with a resolution related somehow to your car. Better yet, as a new year NOBODY is excluded yet for having won.

My New years resolution... to get this thing in there permanently and perhaps take it on a stroll down US 131 Motorsports park once or twice. Wish me luck

My ‘80 Cutlass has been off the road since 1991, owned it since 1986. Started working on it again almost 2 years ago with a lot of help from a friend. Now the car is almost ready for the interior to be installed. Hoping to have a set of license plates on it in the new year and add on some miles, it’s been an awful long time.

Resolution for 2024 is getting this back on the road after hitting the wall in 2022. Also lost a rocker arm and pushrod took out the rods and pistons. Coming back with a bigger engine and a lenco transmission. Looking to put the 70 yr old butt in the mid 8's

Are we going to bump this to February? That would allow the G Body of the year to get its reign and be ahead of the month to start on track

Just want to say happy new year to all of you! I have a few resolutions including finishing up my project LS Swap on my 1981 El Camino! I hope to have it back on the road by march and go back to daily driving it. I daily drove it on the stock 229 V6 for over two years and have owned for for more than 3, it is my first car that I bought when I was 15 and I love this thing to death. The swap has been going on for longer than ever anticipated (since April of 2023) but the whole car other than body and frame has been touched and upgraded while swapping it. I am almost 19 and living the dream with my 80's Muscle car and I will have it running in no time, along with getting it new interior and an alarm system as more resolutions after the swap. Second picture is how the swap currently sits for those who want to see the engine and thank you for reading my little story!

My New Year's resolution for my Cutlass is to get the H/O 8.5 rebuild and into the car along with the new tubular trailing arms. I also want to be able to get the rust on the rear quarters taken care of so I can keep the car in good condition. It would be nice too, to be able to have a "passing gear" with getting my kickdown cable properly adjusted. Most important for this year is to at least get to a few Test and Tunes and as many car shows as possible.
