JOUNCE BAR ISSUE

Here is a pic of the crossmember guys ..... and the bolts from the doner car.

that's not the crossmember, that is the nose they added to the crossmember to protect the crossmember and it looks like it did it's job. I would cut that part out and weld piece in a new piece
 
in a perfect world, I would do so ... To me ..it might be a little too much time and trouble to cut one out of another car, have it welded on ...just to mount the jounce bars. As of right now, I think I can survive w/o out them.

I wouldn't take the whole piece off and replace it with one from a donor car, I would cut that face out and weld in a piece of 14 gauge metal
