Triangles are good for strengthening. Probably overkill which is a good thing in this situation

I also think its probably overkill, but I'm sorta making this up as I go along. We're not working on the space shuttle, but I don't want a little twist to turn into a big problem.
There is no such thing as overkill.
I agree on triangles. The floor bracing plan looks good. I'd probably run some diagonals across the door openings as well if it were mine. I'd hate to see the openings go parallelogram and crack paint in the pillars. Maybe I'm being overcautious.
I appreciate the feedback. Overcautious is a good thing here. Something across the door openings is probably a good idea. I'll see if I can find something to weld there. After dinner I'm gonna start tacking some of this stuff into place and I'll see where I wind up.
Seen some guys fab up a piece that goes to door strike and to a hinge just using the bolts
I'm in agreement, there's no such thing as overkill. glad you're taking your time and thinking things through before acting. Me? my regal would've been a pretzel by now...
Yep the welds are uggllyyyy and I know it. Not my nicest work but aesthetics aren't of great importance with this. I didn't want to go too crazy making them prettier because I do have to take this back out at some point. But here is what I came up with. It feels very rigid, I don't think anything is gonna move with this in place.
Thanks Bruce. I'm a little disappointed in my welds but it's humid and once I started sweating through my shirt I began losing my patience. Still I was able to kneel my entire 250 lbs on the 2" tube steel just fine.
