Thanks Jared. My mind really isn't focused on the car right now but I wanted to get something done on it. I'll probably touch up some of the welds and then get ready to pull the body. Now that its reinforced I may cut what is left of the trans tunnel out to make some more working room.

Are you doing a 1 piece pan or 2 halves? If it's 2, leave half the tunnel as a reference.....

It's a full floor but it's in two pieces.

For bracing there is no such thing as ugly, it just all functional. As for your pan panels there is one thing that has been over looked, the rear most section is stamped to match the floor in the back or the smugglers box in the El Camino. I kept forgeting about that even when we were talking about where to order them from. One tip I'll add is just do one half at a time to add extra strenth & reduce any other factors that will allow any flexing.

I'm planning on doing just one side at a time. I haven't overlooked the elco floor so much as I've been ignoring it. Sort of a "cross that bridge when I get there" thing. I think I should be able to make it work without too much extra fuss. If not I'll be here asking for suggestions, lol.
