BUILD THREAD JRP's '87 Regal Thread

My guess is at least 800-1000lbs for the bare body shell.
 
I'm mostly taking it easy today but I did get underneath and poke around a little bit. I can't really tell what I'm working with just yet. There's fiberglass and some patch panels welded in, but i won't have an exact plan of attack until I start cutting and grinding at it.

I was gonna take it easy today but I can't help myself around a sawzall. I decided to chop out that 10 layer sheetmetal sandwich on the driver's side. I'm starting to unearth what I'm actually dealing with. Looks like 2 patch panels welded in there, I highlighted them in red. Of course I still have a lot more grinding and cutting to do.

About to load up on Harbor Freight sawzall blades.
 
I see new inner and outer rockers in your future, if you do need them the Goodmark pieces are nice.
