Hmmm. Doesn't sound good. I'll start looking at other options. I would like to stick to going with LS1 brakes though.

I got my brackets from Kore3

I just looked at the Kore3 site. I see brackets for the C5/C6 calipers but not the LS1.
Which calipers are you using?

I read this thread about a week ago but started searching for it this morning and couldn't find it again.

So it doesn't appear that Kore3 makes the brackets for the LS1 calipers. If I go this route, I'll have to find someone other than Flynbye that carries them or make them myself.

... Also, I just rebuilt the front end with new ball joints and had the car aligned and would have had to go through that again with the Blazer spindle change....

Why would you need another alignment? The spindles locate everything in the same place as a g body spindle. Tie rods and balljoints.

You have mentioned multiple times that you are bleeding the calipers with them removed from the spindle - why? This should be completely unnecessary of the bleeders are at the top of the caliper.
