'96-'98 Grand Am GT seats in an '84 Monte SS. Seats were re-upholstered for the car. Rear seat is out of an '84 Buick GN with the Lear Seigler seat option, also re-upholstered for the car. Driver's side front seat has a manually adjusted lumbar support with the adjustment knob on the inside side of the seat.

On my DS seat that piece is 3 1/8 wide and 9/16 to center of holes from each edge...hope it helps
