I want to change my factory front bumper turn signal blinker bulbs to led . Can I just put LEd in or does it require something else for it to blink or would it blink
Thanks I was thinking LEd required some to make them blinkYes they blink , we have been using them in Rigs for years. It's a self contained unit/water tight.
What's a load resistor ?Yes they blink , we have been using them in Rigs for years. It's a self contained unit/water tight.

You don't have to change the back ones if you don't want to. My Malibu only has front led turn signals. My local Autozone carried the LED flasher. You can use load resisters or an led flasher. Led flashers are much more convenient because you don't need splice any wiring just replace the flasher in your fuse box.
If you don't put an led flasher in they will still work the turn signals will just hyperflash (blink really fast) . I have switchback leds. When my running lights are on they are white and when I use the turn signal they are amber led.

So the led flashed goes where this yellow is plus inOh your using the single unit not the self contained where there is more than 1 LED. You'll need a LED flasher. LED don't use near the power of a normal bulb. Which means you'll have to change front an back signals to LED
This I'll be able to use the led light correctly for my blinkersView attachment 65911

Yeah it looks really good going down the road and the lights are very crisp not a dull yellow or amber. Looks good with all of the other leds on my car. Also looks cool at a stop light with one running light white and the other blinking led amberWell ain't that interesting , sort of like that look !
