82Poncho thank you for your pics and your car looks really nice. I was told that 215/65/15 were pretty much made for GBody's so hopefully with a set of 15x7 Cragar SS rims with factory type offset will not cause any clearance/rubbing problems. You should post more pics of your car especially the interior as I've noticed GP are under represented on these forums. Seems to me Cutlass's and Monte Carlo's are definitely more popular and maybe it has something to do with the difficulty of finding nice Pontiacs. I'm waiting to finish replacing the sunroof seal and headliner on the sliding cover and a sunny day before I take some pics to post. Thanks again.

Those Cragars would be exactly what I would want if I had the cash. Can't wait to see'em nsharma. I am fully enjoying driving the GP and for me that is the most important thing right now. Here is some interior shots.
I think by far Pontiac has the best intrument cluster. "I am glad they used Dials"

81V8GP that is definitely one of the cleanest Grand Prix's I have ever seen. Beautiful color combination with the snowflakes rims and whitewalls. Can you tell me the size and make of the tire on your car as I need new tires on my 81 and am having a impossible time finding whitewalls for it. I may have to upgrade my 14 inch wire hubcaps to 15 inch snowflakes just to get the whitewalls. I know it won't be cheap.

Thanks. They are 14" snowflakes. The tires are from http://www.dbtires.com/, Diamond Back Tires. They take a new tire and vulcanize whatever width whitewall you want onto it. The tires were not cheap - $170 a piece - but I could not find the proper width whitewall to make the car look original. I had 2 sets of an off brand that had a very similar whitewall, but everytime I took the car out I had to scrub the white because they would start turning brown. I have yet to scrub these and they are always white.

The whitewalls look awesome and the car would look naked without them. I will check out the website. How wide of a stripe did you get on yours?
