I understand the need for the low buck route. Ha you can read my 442 strory in the Olds section. Anyway since its a special Pontiac and not just a regular GP I would think it would be worth spending a couple extra bucks to use Pontiac 400/455. Food for thought.
I have thought that but as some of you may have noticed the car is wrecked in the rear 🙁 If you look in the picture you can tell the decklid is not even close to lined up. After 4 years I tracked down a good decklid and all the trimmings for the rear of the car. The back glass and package tray are coming out this weekend and the the sheet metal is getting pulled back into place. So all of this has pretty much killed my budget!
My 1983 Grand Prix Lj. 2 previous owners, one was some granny, other was my brother in law. He only had it for a year or so, it's been mine for a little over 2 years. I get a lot of looks in town. Even a few offers haha!
It's been bumped around a little, that's why there's a different front clip. The fenders are a little dented up to, but very minor stuff. Interior is in mint shape. I'll upload a few more pics.
