One of the previous owners decided to recess the bumpers... Looks kinda cool but not my cup of tea. So I grabbed some bumper supports and used aftermarket fillers off a car in the pick and pull..

Still at it.... Only front end parts I could find local at a reasonable price were of a 83. So 83 Header panel it is. Needs some TLC but much better than the broken header panel that came with the car. I will need to find a grill and the surrounding trim pieces.

I would have held out for the 84' and up header panel, just a better look IMO plus some cool grill options.

Believe me I fought hard with myself. I want to drop it off to paint within the next two weeks. Otherwise I would have waited it out. If one surfaces local I will surely pick it up. Tho I have seen some nice looking 81-83s also so I guess I will see how it turns out.

Question for you guys

I think I want to paint the car white. It was originally a maroon\red color. Maybe garnet red. 🤷🏿‍♂️ It is a 85 T Type but nothing original is left. So originality isn’t really important.

What you guys thing Original red or white?
Trim will be black.
Bumpers will be chrome.

Interior who knows? Either gray or black

Got these in the mail.. Now maybe I can actually drive the car. Current front end setup is 90/10 with trick springs. Way too soft. Tires rub during braking and going over bumps. This could possibly have to do with my wider tires 235/60/15 but hopefully these will remedy the rubbing.
