if your hoping he's going to do something then you don't have it ALL in writing. You should have learned by now that hoping for something usually doesn't work out in your favor. Make sure you both know what to expect in writing so there is no misunderstandings

I meant as in if it doesn't need rebuilding he will switch it over, So what I meant was hopefully it doesn't need rebuilding so I don't have to re-sell or give it away for someone who can rebuild it.
I am sorry, I am just not writing correct haha.
But thank you and yeah i learned I was all over him about everything being written down, he was about to not sign it and I was like no you have to sin this I was all over it.

Yeah it was cheaper and more reasonable then just fixing the head gasket or finding the other problems that was making it do all that.
Cause wasn't sure if it was head gasket or something else.

For a known good engine, sounds OK. Did you ever time the motor and put on a known good carb? If your Wife is happy, you will be happy 😀.

As said, what exactly are you getting for $1,000? If all your getting is what you listed above its an absolute rip off! Those are all basic tune-up items that you could get for less than $100.

Do you get to keep your old engine? I would grab it if you can. Spare parts, nuts and bolts, scrap weight, etc.

Its a used motor with new parts, They say low miles runs great and nothing wrong with it at all.
But i never got to see/hear it, but I guess when I go to pick it up I will finally see it run and everything.
But if it has one problem I get my money back.
