don't want to bust your bubble but numbers cars, if there were really any to begin with they have not existed for decades...back in the days a numbered car meant that the last few numbers of the vin matched the numbers on the engine.

Good to know and thank you for clarifying. Well on that note! My restoration will begin in spring and would thank you all for the hospitality and future information to help me restore this gem of mine

Recently, numbers matching really just means it has everything the car was born with. Engine, trans, rear end, etc.
