Welcome to the forum from Maryland!
Sharp-looking Monte. I agree with the previous posters on that color, too -great choice.

Thanks partsbox !! i appreciate it!! Here is a photo of my cutlass, this was two years ago its in 'mothballs' right now sitting out in the desert sun....the vinyl top needs to be redone, but i am planning on getting it restored back to original condition once i am satisfied with the monte carlo. It just needs paint and a new vinyl top, im going to paint it the original color. I am the second owner, my dads best friend sold it to me, bought off him for $2000 back in '09. Cool dude he loved the car but never drove it so he told my dad i should buy it, went to go look, and back then i had no interest in muscle cars i was a VW guy, but when i saw it i couldnt get over how mean it looked haha here i am now still in love with g bodies..sorry for the rambling.

NICE!!
Love the color!
I had painted my 86 El Camino "Black Cherry Red" (Custom mix to saturate the red) over Chrysler 300 Slate Gray.
Real nice ride, Welcome to the forum!

Haha thanks!!! 79 USA 1 I guess I went with the right color! You still have that Camino?

Only in a few pictures and parts. Was my daily driver until 2004 when the New York winters took their toll on the frame and under carriage.Had over 400,000 miles on the body between myself (200,000) and its previous 3 owners.

That's a nice El Camino dude I love the way the color looks in the sunset! But damn that's a lot of miles!! They were built to drive so that proves their durability but I'm sure that salt and snow doesn't help living up there! I definitely count my blessings living in the high desert!
