Oh wow that is very disappointing to hear, man we have to get in contact with him and show him some appreciation. Like I said, Tony_SS (mac-ink) was a huge inspiration for my car. It sucks he's out of g-bodies.

David, I sent Tony an e-mail. I hope he receives it. I also had his business card, but can't seem to find it. Yeah, it does suck. I think he's moved onto Jeeps and 4X4's last time we spoke. If I hear back from him and he has some positive news, I'll relay it.

*Update, I did find his business card. If he doesn't answer my e-mail message, I'll call him.

Oh OK that's cool though doing his own thing haha just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and I hope everyone is having a good time with family and loved ones. Came to my parents so I thought I'd get a few pictures of the Cutlass:
Hopefully I'll get to reviving it soon haha

Wow, top side, that looks like a great find. Sometimes the field finds have all kinds of varmint problems though. My cousin found a field find years ago that was in great shape and decided to try to get it running there and drive it home. Rats/Mice or something had chewed through wires => short => burnt to the ground. Unless you know it to be fine in that regard, haul it if you can?

Good luck on this . . .

Well it's been sitting for only 9 months here where it sits. I've moved it around, it's at my parents house. Still runs, no varmints here except spiders have made it a home haha

If you still can put some unused dryer sheets in the trunk, interior and under the hood to ward off the rats and mice.

Didn't think about that, next time I am there i will do that, I'm anxious to get started on this car. Thanks for the advice!!

David,
The Cutlass looks like a nice clean survivor. Good score. I hope the rest of the car is just as nice.

Thanks man I appreciate it!! The interior is in decent shape but I drove it a lot so it shows some signs of negligence on my part. there's some dings and dents here and there but nothing major, you can barely see them from a distance. The engine runs good needs some engine bay clean up but nothing bad, I want to start working on it soon, I'll try to keep it original to a point haha I'll get some pics of the interior when i go back during the week. The plan is to repaint it the original color and re-do the vinyl top. I might get different wheels but we will see I love the rally wheels on this. I actually got more compliments driving this thing than when I drive the Monte haha it's a local car too sold in the next town over in Lancaster. I'm the second owner I wish I would've taken better care of it but life happens and I had a lot of fun driving it when I did.
