Long tube vs shorty headers

I have a new set of HEDMAN headers shorty headers for my sbc 406 and was wondering what are the advantages to getting long tube headers like HEDMAN 68318 a d how does the HEDMAN 68318 fit and modifications needed?

Tell me how the short ones fit when/if you put them in. Also a part number. I still need a set for my wagon. Im assuming 1 5/8 ?

HEDMAN 68608 has always fitted good on All my g body cars

It depends on just how low your car sits .I run Flowtech "shorty" headers with true dual exhaust on mine.
