After I got her back together I decided to do the blazer brake upgrade. And then to change out the stiff *ss diesel car springs the previous owner put in. And while digging in this deep I decided to throw on a almost complete umi suspension.

My rear upper arms are not umi. But decent double adjustables. The springs I chose were hotchkis 1 inch lowering springs. And threw on some gas a just shock. These are Japanese and seem really well made. But I don't know.

I moved my engine ahead an Inch instead of back and made room for the stock truck ac compressor. Only problem with this is the plug on the back is right against the clamshell. I still have to figure out how to deal with this. I need a 90 degree plug instead of a straight one but I don't have a source for it yet?

looking good, nice progress. Keep the pictures coming!

May have the order of things a little out of wack. But getting back on track. Moved back inside and put the engine in again. Had it mocked up before it went to "paint" SEE what I mean about a waste of time and money. The guy had it for almost a year. And that's how I got it back. That's another story.

My cousins Cuda has a similar story. The car came apart for paint, dude had it a year, and we got it back in half assed epoxy primer with no body work done.
