Good chance it will be a cast aluminum intake. Anyone try a BTR or Holley Low rise?

The engine is a cathedral port 6.0L, single turbo.

Yes, I just replaced my LS3 intake for a Holley low rise intake.

I usually like to see dimensions from a drawing but I saw a video of Holley Mid Rise vs a Trailblazer SS and on the bench they were the same height. Not much to go on but since a TBSS fits, I chose a Mid Rise and alot of hope.
Have you tried this on yet? Im also curious as to fitment. i do have a 2" cowl hood (came with the car). would like to get something higher than stock and mid height sounds good.

Only bolted to the engine and not installed in the car yet. I can get you a measurement off the engine. Like intake rail to top of intake but as for hood clearance. We are a few weeks away from that.

Thanks man. It’s ok when I install in the car I guess I’ll get to that step. I’d like to get it as high as possible but not sure how far out I am from installation. If it don’t fit I’m sh*t outta luck on a return .

If your need for a low profile is driving the agenda, then the LS6 intake, with the F-Body FEAD. Did a deal with one of the LS crew here on the board and My 5.3 got one for its very own. Stripped the stocker down to the corpse and parked the bones over in the twilight zone. Even managed to hang on to my cable driven accel and cruise control set up.

A FAST 101, LS1 or LS6 was considered. Power to power it is a wash but I trust cast aluminum over plastic for boosted applications.

Yea that’s pretty much where I’m at. Cast aluminum def going to be stronger. Just need to get the height right. I also have a new worry. I’m running mast small bore ls7 heads and they are a little taller than stock, hoping they don’t hit the damn ac box 🤦🏼‍♂️
