I used an appliance adjuster mounted in the firewall as a stop for my clutch pedal

thanks Mark, it was cheap and easy, that was my motivation. A nut on each side of the firewall with a locks it in place and I haven't touched it since I put it in. I used a large washer on the inside of the firewall to spread the pressure

Nice!! Very ingenious!! if i decide to do that then a the washer machine is getting a piece of wood to prevent it from shaking... I really have to get this started BUT my stupid Jeep is broken again!! :| I can't wait though to get it done. I appreciate the help guys with the help. I have the harness, fuel, and trans issues to deal with....not to mention the interior, wheels, finishing up my brakes, etc etc  :friday:

speaking of the Jeep there are a few guys in here who have been real helpful when I have started a thread about a problem with my Jeep.

Yeah i know But my WJ Grand Cherokee's 4.7 rebuilt by me, dropped the number 1 exhaust seat on the rebuilt head less then a year after getting it rebuilt... The machine shop only has a 3 month warranty :wtf: I ended up getting it rebuilt AGAIN and will hopefully install it this weekend. Luckily it didn't ruin the piston!! I like my GC but it's starting to get problamatic... Maybe i can swing a new to me truck payment next year!! WOO HOO!! Only reason i don't want a to is because it's gonna take my GP's money... :? At least i have "ol faithful " my uglier than sin 97 XJ that still fires up with no issues at 240k miles!! other then that is rides and sounds like an old tank!!
