I could GAF less. I'm not into singing Kum-buyah with every new member. Yet, the more posts you have, the more accurate and less sarcastic answer you may get...
Am I wrong that it bothers me more that Mandatory is spelled wrong in the title of this thread than it does feeling the need to require new members to introduce themselves?
For me I don't think the introduction is that big a deal but if you are a new member and you want help then when you ask a question help us by at least posting some info and details about what you are working on along with some pictures instead of saying " My car runs bad please help" and then we have to spend a page or two asking what you have.
I would not be opposed to having people with zero post count being restricted to only being able to post in the new users section until they had posted once. Or as part of the username setup, having a prompt where you can tell about your self and your car that would automagically post in the new user section for them.
As far as the for sale section, a 25 post minimum would be nice.
