So heres an update so everyone knows where im at... I took the motor out today and shipment of my 383 came in this morning, Still need the carb and the distributer... I was told i can use an older non computerized distributer from an older chevy truck/ or maybe even car (How would i ask the junk yard if they have one?) As for the lock out kit, I have been told by many if i dont really want to spend the money on an actual kit i can HOT WIRE the trans to a switch which ultimitly is a rigged lock out. So im gunna go that way to save a couple bucks for the time being.
