I can get the measurements off my 88 SS during the week unless someone else here beats me to it.

Where are you guys ordering your decals from? I am debating if I should go with the 87-88 style decals or the 85-86 style on my '86 as I plan to update the rear end to the 87-88 rear bumper / tails.

I had that problem when I did mine, I have an 84 but have all the 87-88 stuff. I didn't like the 84 stripe kit so went with the 85-86 but ended up regretting it and pulling off the door ones. I did leave the front and rear bumper ones

Just wanted to let you know I have not forgot, Weather change made it hard to work around the car. I am in the process of getting the measurements. Concrete floor is quite cold this time of year!😉
Please be patient.

Where in NY are you located?
The Snowy end of Lake Erie, Just South of Buffalo.
You also in the "People's Republic Of New York"?

Here goes...

Starting at the front "Chevrolet" script. Top of letter "C" is 3/4 inch down from the style line at the headlight opening. 11/16 to the top of the "T" to be exact on my car. The script is 3 7/8 from a line dropped straight from the corner of the headlight recess to the side of the letter "C". The top of the letter "T" ends up 2 3/4 inch from a straight line extended down from the headlight recess.

Note in most my pictures I started at the 10 inch mark for accuracy with the exception of the distance for the "Chevrolet" script where I used the 50 inch line on a flexible Seamstress measuring tape.

Moving to the sides.

My car being an 88 Monte Carlo SS has the side stripes at 5/8 down from the top of the body style line to the top of the first stripe. The stripe before the wheel on both sides has a slight upward transition and the stripe is closer to 9/16 down from the style line of the front bumper. -Mass production/ Human error-.

Driver side door SS Monte Carlo decal: Top of the SS is 4 1/2 up from the top of the style line. 4 11/16 to the bottom corner of the S from the front edge of the door. The bottom corner of the "M" locates 4 7/8 from the front door edge.

Passenger side door SS Monte Carlo decal: Top of SS is 4 1/2 up from top of style line. 12 11/16 from front door edge to bottom corner of "S". Bottom corner of the "M" locates 12 3/16 from front door edge.

To the Deck lid...
SS Monte Carlo script: Top of SS to the bottom of trunk lid 4 3/16 inch. top corner of "S" 1 3/4 from edge of trunk lid. Top of "Monte Carlo" 1/4 down from bottom of "SS". Bottom corner of "M" 8 3/16 from edge. 1 1/2 up from bottom of trunk lid. Bottom corner of first "S" to license pocket trim 11 1/4.

Bow tie above trunk lock: Lowest line on Bowtie 3 inch from top of license pocket trim. Left side kick out at 3 1/4 inch. Kick out corner to edge of trunk lid 24 3/4. Right side of bowtie kick out 3 3/4 to top. Kick
out corner 24 3/4 to trunk lid edge.
Rear Bumper stripes again are at 5/8 down from style line for the most part.

Hope these show what you need.
