Most Unusual G-Body Engine Swap You’ve Ever Seen?

I always thought a 6.2 or 6.5 turbo would be a natural (and easy) swap in an El Camino but I've never seen one.

Like crap. 1:30 Molded a cover using a Home Depot rubber trash can. Of course I shouldn't complain...I have two Malibus hiding out under car covers at the moment. He's driving his.....

I probably would have been satisfied with a NA 6.2 and a TH400 that dropped in and hooked up with like 3 wires.
I have simple tastes.

I have a lucky find fresh 6.2 and a used Banks kit stashed in the shed o' many things. They are slated for the K30, but if I found a decent G-body sedan...

Would have loved to have seen a rear view when he stomps on the throttle. I'm sure it would have been a giant smokescreen! 😀

I test-drove a used 5.7 diesel Malibu wagon, and on the highway, it did just that. Everybody in the rear-view mirror just disappeared.
