Well since this an all around G Body forum you will have people from different relms. Its not Dragracersforum.com. So i dont understand why unless you have a compliment or a suggestion to make what the person is doing wether it be suspension, motor, or body work better why even comment? Theres construtive criticism then there is just being an *ss. I guess its all the same on any forum though theres always the people that dont know the meaning of "if you dont have nothing nice to say, dont say nothing at all"

dont let them bug you, you will get it everywhere. like i always say, these are customs. we build them the way WE want them! if we listened to everyone else then they would express everyone elses style not your own! these sites are here to help people build their dream cars, mine is different from yours and the next guys....

as long as you don't turn it into a donk.
i am biased towards cars that go fast and handle well, but as long as you keep it driveable (which you apparently are) it's all good

i know what you mean. i dont know how much flack i get from people about what im doing with my car, but i love this sh*t and your sh*t. im all about lowriders. i love speed but i love a nice cruiser too. any idiot can drive a fast car, but not just anyone can build THEIR OWN car. like i always say to haters, and most ricers.... I BUILT IT, WHAT DID YOU DO? good luck on the build dude. i love it, as you can tell by my car i might look biased but im not.

Looks good got any pics from the outside with everything cut out? As for you guys having trouble getting the front up you can use 2600s but you will definetly need to addd shocks, with 2500 you dont need shocks. Also if your only filling to 150 psi its going to take two hits to get the front up. Go to 200 psi and you will have no problems lifting the front. When my tank was maxed out at like 210 psi it would hop the wheels off the ground on the first hit.

mine almost hops on the first hit at 200psi. my pressure switch turns it off there and as soon as i hit one switch it drains the air dramatically and the comps turn on. i didnt have shocks at all in the car but i just threw some rear gasmatics in and im putting in gasmatics in the front this weekend, so hopefully it rides better.

are you guys using drop spindels?

im not using any, but my drop is very significant that i dont need any.

thanks guys for defending what i'm doing. i look at it this way... i build it the way i like it. i dont see a need for a car that can do a 8 or 9 sec 1/4 mile but you have to adjust the valves or something inbetween runs so you could never drive it on the road. but i would never bash them because i have a love for all cars even donks. not saying i would own one but i repect the ones that are done right.

i run re7's all around and i didnt need to do anything but bolt those ****ers in(and cut a little out of the spring pocket) to get that drop. drop spindles in my case would be a waste of time and money. also to Just Karter, since when do people build cars to resell them? ive built 4-5 cars in the last 4 years and i lost money on all of them. its for the person building them, not to sell them. even if i wanted a stock SS i wouldnt change it back to stock, id buy another one.

I never said he was building it to sell it, I said when he sells it.
Because for some reason almost every car built ends up sold.
Either family reasons or switching to different projects.
