Gratz!!! that sucka is loud!!!!!
Sweet!!!! I have to say it sounds healthy with that cam. Disclaimer: with all the LS swaps going on, i think the bug has finally bit me! If i play my cards right, I'm hoping to have a complete LQ4 in my possession in the next month or two. However, with me running an efi'd gen1 for the last decade, i will be keeping the LS efi'd.
it made it down the block ! lol i was playing with the carb settings a little and the timing on the LS box. it was running crazy lean at idle , adjusted more fuel 1/8th of a turn and it evened it out to like 14-15 at idle. when you mash on it around 12. need to play with it more and have so much more work to do...
I am going to try to register it this week so I can drive it a little more and fine tune it.
thats what i thought thank you!The very lowest outboard hole on the passenger side is for the ECU harness. A little above it and inboard is for the HVAC harness/vacuum lines.
That hole isn't used on my car (was a diesel) and there is a large plastic body plug in the hole, and it is seam sealed over it where it meets the firewall. You might be able to get the correct plug from a member on here from a car that is being parted out. You could also just make your own. Cut a circle out of sheet metal where it will lay over the 'lip' on the firewall that the grommet seated on. Put a bead of seam sealer on that lip, and 'glue' your new plug to the firewall. After your new plug is in place, I'd go ahead and seam seal the joint or outside edge of it on the engine side of the firewall. I hope this makes sense.thats what i thought thank you!
any idea how I can seal up the bottom hole as there is no longer computer or wires going thru there?
