taking another long needed break from this car this weekend... playing with it before at work and the power door locks stopped working for some reason... going backwards

Feel your pain. Got locks all done, working fine, tucked everything away and put kick panels back on and ready to move on....next morning I go in garage and notice my effing courtesy lights are stuck on.
Dammit, have to pull apart again to find the problem, just haven't had the time or patience this week.

I thought about it and I think that I am going to install the console mount when i do the carpet and such but not actually get a console yet, instead just install the floor shifter i was planning on using anyway with the buckets and new carpet...

spent couple hours just now after work just now working on the car... put the dash back in (didn't bolt it in yet) , wired up the gauges, and what few wires i needed for the alarm/keyless entry while i still had access... cluster seems ready to go in.

decided that im going to not put a console in right away. just the console shifter (B&M ratchet) and the bucket seats, but im gonna put the console bracket in while the carpet is out so that i dont have to take everything out again when I do get the console...

Now that you've drove it, are you still feeling discouraged?
not as much lol it has no plates and it was wet here i literally went down the street into a industrial complex and back just to see if it would shift 3 gears and what the A/F would do

Good. I was hoping that driving it would lift your spirits. I'd be trilled to death right now if my Monte Carlo could drive that far and shift through the gears. Lol.

the whole interior is filled with crap still and there are wires everywhere still and nothing is bolted in... (dash wise) so its still overwhelming to be in there lol

trying to button up the dash and the alarm wiring this week and bolt dash down... then prob will give it a little break before doing the seals (water leaks in passenger side floor) door seals, roof rail seals ? whatever there called, then new carpet, seats, floor shifter... holding off on the console for now.

I would love to see a video of it driving when you get it a little more ready. You've really whooped some *ss on that car man.
