Good Score Rich, now you can stop on a dime

UPDATE:
Finally got it aligned but then i realized i have a lot of play in the steering box a friend gave me so I will be getting a new one

picked up 3/8ths spacer to solve some clearance issues with not getting full throttle using a holly and a performer manifold. After i installed it it was making a loud *ss whining noise but it turned out to be the paper thin gaskets that came with it. I got some thicker felpro's and it went away and motor was running much better. Also picked up transdapt tv and throttle bracket and I have to say it was the biggest piece of junk i ever bought, I already opened it so i couldn't return it :blam: Had to really modify it to make it work until i can afford a better brackets

Then I spent like 4 hours last weekend cleanin up the blazer brake set up, dam i wish i had a sand blaster! Did it all with wire wheels and drills
one before one after
IMG050.jpg

And lastly got some goodies!adjustable uppers, moroso rear trick springs, and traction bars that I might be selling these might go better with an 8.5 than my stock rear so im still debating
IMG061.jpg

Sweet updates bro, elco going to look sweet!! Hit me up with the rear if u change ur mind..i " ll take off ur hands..

^^^ Great minds think alike , what kind of shocks you running? im thinking about getting the summit 3 way adjustables cause they will be better than these air shocks I have in there now

Finally got them installed, this was at a diff shop getting a new pinion seal done, the dam driveshaft was in my way (something i over looked when deciding to get x pipe done lol) so I just paid to get it done.

The aftermath:

Engine bay I will be cleaning and painting.

exhaust
SSPX0432.jpg

Stupid leaking stearing box, which has cause massive amounts of caked on grease and grime
SSPX0421.jpg

Althought it did keep steering parts protected from rust and bushings lubricated lol
SSPX0402.jpg

Pics of exhuast system now for sale! I have headers and true dulas coming.

Bolts on to factory 305 manifolds like mine which are pictured in other post.

Straight pipe no cat (although can be added simply and cheaply), 1 flowmaster, dual tips dumps behind wheels, does not require special cross member. Very good condition, no rust, tips have good chrome they are just very dirty the cars been sitting for months. It is very loud even with that POS 305 I was running, it sets off alarms....(if your close enough..haha)

Dont know why it looks like its cut off in the middle in this pic but its not
SSPX0430.jpg

Chrome Tip, has one on both sides

More updates mañana!

You should, it sounded real good on my tired out 305 8)

Finally out on vacation from school, so its time to get back to wrenching.

Took a ride out to riverside and picked up a nice GN d5 converter from PSIEDV6

Now I just need to pick up a shift kit so I can pull out the drivetrain again to get all this stuff installed.

Anyone have a shift kit recommendation, I'm looking to get one that I can manually shift thru the gears, for when at the track and messing around, but is still automatic when in Drive???? Hopefully not too hard to install too
