Picked up the last gallon of primer and Papaw is doing such a great job I decided to go ahead and buy a gallon of paint.


Papaw said the only color that will do this car justice is BLACK!!! Oh yeah, I also turned all photos so they are up and down and not sideways. Enjoy!!!

Theres nothing better than black paint over a well prepped body. I had a 72 Coupe Deville that I did all the bodywork on before I had it painted black. I couldn't tell you how many hours I put into prepping, but is was ALOT. Like more than Ive ever done before. But it definitely was worth it after the black was sprayed and buffed.
Im sure he will do a great job. Keep the pictures coming.

Body work is almost complete. A couple more coats of primer and block sanding. Finally got around to painting my steering wheel, probably install it tomorrow. Then time for the black paint!!!

I have not seen my car since July 4th but here is an update.

Trunk is now black
Door jambs are black
Outer body repair and primer is done
Getting ready to spray the outside black
