I'll be honest... I wasn't too kean on the purple, I was more a fan of the satin you had before. But after seeing how flat it came out, it looks amazing. Real mean! And it goes nicely with the black chrome on the rims, and tinted windows.

... that air dam, you should make a bracket and mount it with a forward facing angle

Thanks Warren, and Khan it's funny you mention that. I posted pics on protouring.com also and TonySS told me about using one from a 1st gen Camaro. Says it bolts on and he's running one on his Monte. Not sure if I'll go that route, but i'll be doing something.

Re: My Bu's "Re"Build Thread- Latest Pics 6/23/11

a buddy of mine put his on a hinge on his 84 TurdGen, then attached it with adjustable links. It's a little overkill, cuz I don't ever see him adjusting it, but the idea is cool... You can turn it down on hot days or when you need some cooling, then crank it back up to a nice forward slant for when you wanna look cool at the shows 8)

Thanks Blake. Ya Khan, I had thought about doing that in the front and then the same off the trunk, but ended up deciding against it. Thought it might be too much with the hood and all.

Haha, i've thought about that too.

Now that the outside of the car is looking better, it's time to move on. This time, i'm gonna start cleaning up under the hood. First thing up is new valve covers and air filter. They are just some cheapies but I had to personalize them a bit. There not on yet but here is a pic.
