Cool is it the HOK fire red or just a factory fire red? either way it looks sharp, cant wait till its all together!

Actually it is Restoration Shop (cheap e-bay) Fire Red Pearl base/ clear. Only $199.00 for the entire kit, and worth every penny and a few more from what I can tell. If you are looking to paint a car inexpensively start there.

i have been trying to find someone who has used that stuff forever! does it seem like a good quality paint?? im very intersted to hear you opinions on it

The paint seems great. Alot of pearl, sprays easy, and looks great (even when sprayed in a tent as the sun sets. I had a friend helping me with the paint (professional GM dealer painter), and he said it lays easier than dupont and looks just as good. He was impressed and he knows more than I do.

I would definitely recommend them.

did you clear coat it? I already know what Im buying from another store and its prolly gunna be 500$ to do by myself. because I need EVERYTHING. two tone paint and several layers of clear. I want this b*tch to last!

It is a base/clear paint. We cleared it and then sanded/ polished it since these photos. I will post more photos once I get farther on assembly.

Thanks for the feedback. I will post pictures in the sun ASAP. My yard is small and even out of the tent it is hard to get good sun on it and a good angle. I need to get the interior in it and the drive cleared out so I can get it out of the drive to photo better.

How did you post the photo's that way?

To post a pic: Right click the pic , pull up the properties at the bottom of the drop down menu, then paint the location text. Next, right click again, and copy. Next, post in the thread using

, pasting the text where I put text. If you are on a Mac, you will not have a right click button. If this is so, I think you do it on a mac laptop by touching the mouse pad and clicking but I am not sure as I have always used Windows.
