It's out. Wasn't hard, just messy and time consuming. Transmission jack worked great. Inside of the bellhousing was soaked with transmission fluid. I can't tell if it was coming from the torque converter seal or the pump seal. Rear main seal seems to be dry as does the output shaft seal and the transfer case input seal.

Did what I could to cover the openings and pressure washed the transmission and transfer case. I used some rubber gloves and zip ties but mostly was just tried to be careful about where I aimed the business end of the pressure washer. No way I was putting these back in without cleaning them.

Pump is out, didn't take much. I don't see anywhere on the old seals that looks like it would have caused such a massive leak. Makes me wonder if the torque converter itself should be pressure tested for leaks.

I wasn't gonna bother replacing the pump bushing until I saw it looked like this-

So I figured I better swap it. It apparently wasn't replaced when this transmission was rebuilt before because it has the Pentastar logo on it.

There is a transmission shop down the road that is decent, I'm gonna stop by and see if they are open tomorrow and if they have one on hand.
 
That bushing is beat. I see 1 dowel pin. Is the other still in the block?
