That and he'll be so invested he could never dream of getting rid of it which fixes his current problem of not being able to find a clean replacement.
C'mon you know you wanna!

More power and better mileage!
You know, you could man up and build that 410 Windsor I’ve mentioned before.....
About ten years ago one of my friends brother took a clean 92 ford body and mounted it on a 76 Highboy frame. Leaf springs in the front with a Dana 44, and had a 460 engine. He keep it stock appearing. That was a cool truck. Hard on fuel though. Every time I read posts on this thread I have the urge to get my 77 Highboy dually going again.

You have a regal? That's a noble idea but Regal gotta happen first.
I'll be patiently waiting for a build thread. That truck used to look bad *ss when I had the paint shined up and the windows blacked out. Originally I was going to put a 7.3 diesel in it and 33 inch mud tires all around, but could not find a deal on a 7.3 and never got around to replacing the split rims in the inside duals. I built the 390 and that is were it went down hill. 3 grand in that project and all I have now is a pile of parts. That is were I quit on it. Once the lifted 80 is sold, I plan to get back to it.
And a 3/4 ton frame. He'd be transmission shopping if he went that route. Do it!
GFY 🤣You have a regal?
