Re: black int. , starting the hood scoop

that's what I have to work with... im thinking that maybe if I use that panel bond on clean steel then set the scoop into it I may have a chance of making it work. Ill also use some fun fibre glass matt to mould it in. If anyone has any other suggestions or advise on this please chip in ive heard sooo many cracking stories. My other thought was to clean about 4" where the scoop sits and then use the fibre glass matt lat it out all around and then set the scoop into that and mould it in with the matting....

Re: black int. , starting the hood scoop

Looking good, give ya credit for going with the scoop you have. I myself went with the cowl hood, but that will look sweet when done. BTW, those wheels make your g look bada$$ 8)

Re: black int. , starting the hood scoop

thanks ! just hope I can keep it from cracking.... I also thought of using the stock air filter housing with this,

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/K-N-X-STREAM-TOP ... d7&vxp=mtr

if im right I can extend the sides up and seal to the underside of the hood and have the filter actually in the scoop.... just thinking out loud right now I can measure and check into it more when I get home
