i have to find the wiring for it again, i know you have to wire in a relay and its a bit of fn around...

Got my spoiler, drilled and mounted it to have a look at ... i am going to pull it back off and sand prep and paint it satin black, and do the scoop the same. Car is on stands at the front waiting for my transmission to come back ....

Re: black int. , starting the hood scoop

Looking good bro really liking that black . That center console is a good idea too might have to build one for my ride . are u going to take the dash out or leave it in place to spray it ?

Re: black int. , starting the hood scoop

probably leave it in place and wrap everything up. i found the trick is hot soapy water scrub everything, wipe off with hot clean water let dry and then a wipe with lacour thinner. No fish eyes and it looks great. the rear panels have stood up really good so far.

sh*t thanks for the tip ,the door panels did u have them re carpeted or just sprayed the carpet

Re: black int. , starting the hood scoop

i actually pulled the panel and used a razor blade to seperate the chrome trim, peeled the tan velour off and recovered them myself, used spray glue and stuck the trim back on with door seal adhesive. Its a pita but looks nice. Im going to take better pics when i do the other door panel. And ill use a better camera than my cell.

Re: black int. , starting the hood scoop

got to play with the hood a bit and preped the spoiler !!
ended up cutting it down to 3 1/2", when i sat in the car 4" was just too high. The panel bond seems to be solid we were pushing it and yanking on it to see if it would crack. Next im going to lay maybe 3" wide strips of the fiber glass matt down bothsides, 1 1/2" on the hood and 1 1/2" on the scoop

Re: my build thread, (keeps growing) right suspension

I pulled the right side spindal out, both a arms, installed poly bushings, new upper and lower balljoints, and my 5660 coil spring. Painted everything black . Not the worse job but by far not the funnest. Also got to work on my hood a bit more should be complete monday. My 200 r4 rebuild will be complete and i can pick up the transmission and install it. less the drive gear (wont have till monday) Then once i can move it and turn it around i can pull the left side apart and do that all up. ! The ride height didnt change but it stiffened up nice! Today im going to install my electric fan and just pick away at it abit its raining out and just plain crappy. This year it will be like a new car !!!

Re: my build thread, (keeps growing) right suspension

this is the left side with the original suspension ride height, also the transmission is not in it yet so it may come down a bit but not much by the way it feels 😀 😀 😀 Soooo much under coating on this thing its crazy, i cleaned the parts off with diesel fuel in a drain bucket first, then pressure washed them.
