with the 5660 spring each 1/4 coil cut will drop the car 1"....that's the coil I have on my GP

thanks for the info the less i have to re and re those damn springs the better ! I have all my ac and stuff still so have to see if they get cut or not, i threw some caprice coils in the rear last weekend (used) and they were in and out a few times to get the right height

I was told about the drop by someone so I just cut 1/4 coil the first cut and it did drop an inch just to make sure. I have it cut 1/2 coil now and it dropped 2" so the info I got was right. The front is no fun doing it over and over so I'm glad I could pass this info along

ive got 29" ground to wheel well moulding @ rear and 27 1/2" @ front, have to see how it lands with the transmission installed but as of right now i like it ! Got my electric fan wired in and installed, started the car and ran it for a bit checked the A.C. made sure the fan comes on with it. Cant wait ! Maybe next weekend ill be driving it again. I must of bounced the 2 sides like a dozen times just to feel the before and after, :shock: wow.

It was a pain in the *ss sanding the fibre glass but i love the way it turned out. Ill black the center of the nose out to match the hood when its on the car. What do you all think ?

Nice work on the hood. What are you working on in the background. It looks like a '55 Chevy...or Pontiac? The front fender looks like a Pontiac... the rear could be either Chevy or Pontiac.
