need help locating part.....

So my saga of not being able to put my car in park coninues. Replced shifter linkage assembly, bushings. No good. Replaced all that with the lokar kit. No good. That leaves me with the bushing it column. What is the part number and wherecan I get it? Car is 84 regal ltd w/ 350 sbc, 350 th transmission.

Are you sure it's not youre transmission? After removing the column linkage, where you able to shift your transmission freely?

Ya unhook the linkage and just twist it on the transmission by hand and see if it works. If not than the parking pawl might just be broke. Park is nothing more than a thin peice of steel with a hook at the end that catches on teeth on a small gear.

Well I'm game for a floor mounted shifter. Which should I go with? Its an auto th350.
