need help trying to hook up electric choke.

i looked my my oil filer and did not see any sensors or anything coming out of the block, someone swapped a 350 into it..

Both spots are good for a gauge sender. The sender for gauges looks like this.

you know what i do have another oil pressure sensor, i do believe it is. it is between spark plug number 1 and 2 i think they are and it it on the drivers side, in the front. it only has one wire coming out of it and has a guage attaches to it lol. can i hook this up to my stock guage? where do i hook it up,in getting ready to take off the dash anyways.

you sure because i think it says oil? and my temperature gauge dosnt work either so this may be good, and it has a black wire that runs o the guage, it is veryy, looong! lmao

Well consider this. Is there oil pressure in the head? No. Coolant? Yes. Elementary my dear Watson.

take the wire that's on that sender and ground it, your temp lite will come on or the gauge will go to hot....or remove the sender and see what pours out.. :mrgreen:

so your telling me where this sender is, it has to be a coolant temperature sensor because thir is coolant their and not oil? and,its not connected to the guage in my car its connected to a loose gauge in the engine bay so i cant try that unfortunately
